Family Notobranchaeidae Pelseneer, 1886
The Notobranchaeidae consisting of only one genus, resembling Clioninae by having a posterior gill and usually possessing buccal cones. In some species the jaw is modified and rows of isolated peribuccal teeth occur at both sides of the jaw, the hooks and hook sacs are typical.
