Genus Platybranchium Minichev, 1976
The monospecific genus Platybranchium is a naked pelagic snail, up to 1.4 cm long, with a transparent body and the visceral mass is seen through the body wall. It is conical and there are two broad flat lateral arms each with 40 suckers (Platybrachium antarcticum).
