Genus Peraclis Forbes, 1844 (emend. Pelseneer, 1888)
Peraclis is composed of ten species; Peraclis reticulata is the type species. (Peraclis genus).
These are pelagic snails with a left coiled shell, up to 1 cm high; usually with a deep suture with radial crests. The aperture is wide, the base of the aperture is pointed towards the keeled rostrum, in some species there are distinct aperture teeth. The shell sculpture is usually an irregular reticulate. The wings are fused into a swimming plate.
