Genus Fowlerina

Genus Fowlerina Pelseneer, 1906

Fowlerina is composed of two species. F. zetesios is the type species.

These are naked, pelagic snails, up to 0.9 cm long, with a mainly transparent body and the visceral mass is seen through the body wall. The shape is round oval. The lateral footlobes are large and the posterior one is small. It hunts shelled pteropods as food (Fowlerina genus).
